Kerry Katona denies being dumped

Kerry Katona has denied she was axed by celebrity agents CAN Associates.

Instead, she insists she walked away from Claire Powell and her team, who managed her for 15 months.

'Contrary to recent press reports, I was not "dumped" by CAN Associates,' Kerry, 30, has Tweeted.

'It was my decision to leave, as on a professional level my career was taking a direction that I did not want, nor did I feel was appropriate.

'Furthermore on a personal level, I felt that my integrity had been compromised...

'I have not taken any drugs in the last year and a half - and if anyone claims otherwise, I will sue without hesitation.'

CAN's clients include The Only Way Is Essex star Amy Childs and Peter Andre.

'We are no longer managing Kerry,' their spokeswoman told us on Friday. 'That's all we're willing to stay at this stage.'
